HARRISONBURG, Va. – The James Madison women's soccer program will welcome six new faces to the program as part of the 2016 recruiting class, head coach
David Lombardo announced on Friday.
Jules Bradbury 5-7 M Norristown, Pa. Villa Maria AcademyBradbury comes to JMU from Villa Maria Academy where she was an All-Main Line First Team player and First Team All-AACA (Athletic Association of Catholic Academies) as both a junior and a senior. The midfielder scored 10 goals and added eight assists as a junior before improving in both categories with 11 goals and 13 assists in 20 games as a senior. Her 2015 performance led to her being the runner-up for AACA Most Valuable Player. She was also a member of FC Philadelphia.
DL: "Jules is a solid central midfield player. She can either play defensive center-mid or is versatile enough to play in the back."
Haley Crawford 5-5 F Port Matilda, Pa. State College Area HSNetting 17 goals and nine assists as a senior, Crawford was named Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth Division Co-Player of the Year and a First Team member as a senior. The performance was par-for-the-course for the forward as she tallied six goals and eight assists as a freshman, 15 goals and 10 assists as a sophomore and 23 goals and 11 assists as a junior.
DL: "Haley is a very fast and athletic flank forward. She is left footed and brings a dimension of pace and breakaway finishing that will add to our offense."
Phoebe Dinga 5-7 F Bristow, Va. Patriot HSA dangerous attacking player out of Patriot High School in Bristow, Va., Dinga was named to the Loudon Times All-Cedar Run District Second Team. She was also recognized on the Club Champions League Winter Showcase Girls "Players to Watch" list by soccerwire.com. The forward brings a winning mentality off the field as well as an honor roll student while also participating in clubs such as Beta Club, DECA Club and FEA (Future Educators of America) Club.
DL: "Phoebe is a dynamic and hardworking forward. She plays with a lot of energy and is dangerous around the goal."
Lizzy Lazzaro 5-10 D Leesburg, Va. Loudoun County HSLazzaro brings a defensive mentality to the 2016 recruiting class after establishing herself as a force on the back line in high school. She comes to Harrisonburg with teammate
Hannah McShea, who she played with at both Loudon Country High School and for the PWSI Courage club team.
DL: "Lizzy is a prototypical center back. She is tall, tough and has the ability to organize defenses well."

Lizzy Lazzaro in Harrisonburg. She was named a "Player That Impressed" at the 2015 WAGS (Washington Area Girls Soccer) Tournament by Soccerwire.com on the way to a Showcase Division I championship.
DL: "Hannah is a hard-nosed and extremely competitive player. She will add competitive depth to our goalkeeping corps."
Claire Meiser 5-5 M Great Falls, Va. Langley HSMeiser rounds out the 2016 recruiting class as a dynamic attacking midfielder. The Great Falls native scored 11 goals and added an assist as a junior before netting 12 goals and tallying an assist as a senior at Langley High School. She led the VSA (Virginia Soccer Association) Heat 97 West to a U-17 Gray Division I championship at the Disney Soccer Showcase at ESPN's Wide World of Sports.
DL: "Claire is a quick and dynamic attacking center mid. She loves to take defenders off the dribble and get into the final third of the field to make things happen."
