Small Business Game Changer presented by Appeal Production
Appeal Production and JMU Athletics are excited to help small businesses in Virginia stand out! The Small Business Game Changer contest will award one business with a JMU Athletics marketing package valued at $20,000 and a video package from Appeal Production valued at $10,000 to take your small business from invisible to irresistible. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges based on creativity, originality, and values. To enter your business, complete and submit the form below!
All entries must be submitted by Sunday February 1st, 2026, at 12:00 am EST.
The winner will be announced at the JMU Men’s Basketball game vs. App State on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The Top 10 SBGC participants will also be invited to a special pre-game event at the Atlantic Union Bank Center, which will include game tickets, food, and the announcement of the winner. Those selected will be contacted directly approximately two weeks prior to the event. Please do not reach out to inquire, as we discourage direct inquiries regarding selection status.

- Banner advertisement on two (2) "Athletic Insider" fans emails
- Digital banner advertisement campaign on JMUsports.com
- Campaign winner must be able to attend the JMU Men's Basketball game on Saturday, February 14
- Businesses with 250 employees or less
- No businesses that sell and/or offer guns, ammunition, tobacco, vape products, or gambling
- No current or past partners of JMU Athletics within the past two years
- Business located within a two-hour driving radius of Harrisonburg
