The Title IX Office at JMU receives, responds to, and addresses all reports of sexual misconduct involving members of the university community. Title IX also oversees and supports university efforts to prevent and eliminate sexual misconduct.
JMU Athletics fully endorses the above statements and holds its department and staff accountable on a daily basis.

JMU Athletics manages Title IX compliance in coordination with the James Madison University Title IX Office. The JMU Title IX Office treats all disclosures and reports of sexual misconduct with great care and confidentiality and without bias, pre-judgment, or stereotyping, while balancing the duty to provide for individual and campus safety.
