Still cameras are permitted for JMU basketball games. However, in no instance may photography interfere with access ways, aisles, or other guests' enjoyment of the game.
Video cameras are not permitted.
Concession stands open when gates open (60 minutes prior to the game) and are located throughout most facilities. No concessions are available at JMU tennis matches, field hockey games and swim & dive meets.
No outside food or beverage may be brought inside the AUBC.
Show your JMU Pride and represent our community the right way - with pride, fairness and respect. JMU does not tolerate taunting, insults or rude remarks of any kind directed towards players, officials, staff or other patrons at our events. Any inappropriate language, including racist, sexist, homophobic or transphobic speech, will not be tolerated by JMU Athletics or at JMU Athletics events. All Dukes are better than this.
In the event of an emergency, find the nearest usher, Public Safety Officer, or Cadet or call 540-568-6911. In the event of severe weather or lightning, the JMU storm warning system will become activated.
A 15-second horn will sound, and the game will be suspended. Guests will be directed to seek shelter in their vehicle. When the stadium is cleared for re-entry, the 5-second horn blasts will sound as the all clear signal.
For assistance in any first aid emergency situation, please contact a Public Safety Officer or any event staff member or JMU Athletics staff.
Gates open two hours prior to all JMU Baseball games to account for batting practice and one hour prior to all other JMU Olympic sporting events.
JMU game information will be available at the program stands or JMU Athletics marketing tables, located inside the facilities.

Parking in all commuter lots is limited to students during normal hours but will be open to the public during all home sporting events.
Parking for each JMU Athletics Facility for Olympic Sports Events:
Portable seat cushions are permitted provided they are no wider than 18 inches in width and do not have armrests. Any cushion not meeting this standard may not be used inside JMU Athletics venues.
In order to ensure the safety and security of spectators, student-athletes, and staff, the following items and activities are prohibited inside JMU Athletics facilities:
JMU Recycling is asking for your support in keeping the parking lots, tailgating areas, and athletic facilities clean by recycling your aluminum cans. Recycling bins are strategically placed beside every trash can, so be looking for the recycling containers out there this year and "Get in the Game" RECYCLE!
Restrooms are located at every JMU Olympic sport venue.
In accordance with University Policy 1111, smoking is not allowed in any venue. This includes smokeless varieties such as electronic cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vapor cigarettes.
Tailgating is permitted directly behind your vehicle and cannot occupy additional parking spaces or impede traffic.
Open flames other than gas grills are NOT permitted. Grilling is not permitted in JMU parking decks. Charcoal grills, fire pits, and open flames are not permitted. State laws and University alcohol policies will be enforced on JMU property.
Secure your tailgate area before and during the game to protect your belongings. JMU will not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen items. Clean up your tailgating area to keep our campus clean and traffic areas safe for travel.
Any violation of the tailgating policy may result in the immediate termination of tailgating privileges and/or legal action.
Admission to all JMU Olympic sporting events are FREE!
