DELAWARE SLIPS BY WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM 1-0

NEWARK, Del., Oct. 16 -- Delaware scored the only goal of the match early in the second half to defeat James Madison 1-0 in Colonial Athletic Association women's soccer Sunday at Delaware Mini-Stadium.
Senior Jennifer Krepps scored her first goal of the season 2:14 into the second half on a penalty kick. Â The kick was set up when Delaware's Alli D'Amico was taken down in the right side of the goal box. Â Krepps then blasted her shot low inside the right post, beating Dukes' senior goalkeeper Jessica Hussey (Kanata, Ontario/Holy Trinity).
Hussey made three saves in a losing effort for the Dukes. Â Lindsey Shover made six saves to post her fourth shutout of the season and 18th of her career at Delaware. Shover's biggest save was on a shot by JMU junior Sarah Cebulski (Manotick, Ontario/St. Mark's) with less than 10 seconds remaining to preserve the win for the Hens.
