BERGER NAMED TO ALL-AMERICA LACROSSE TEAM

HARRISONBURG, Va., May 30, 2007 -- James Madison University lacrosse player Kelly Berger (Columbia, Md./Hammond) has been named to the 2007 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA)/US Lacrosse All-America Team.
Berger, a senior midfielder, was named to the third team. She earned All-America recognition for the second year in a row.
Berger finished her career ranked second on the JMU career goals (184) and points lists (262) and third in assists (78). She was among the nominees for the Tewaaraton Trophy for the nation's top player.
The IWLCA and US Lacrosse recognized 48 student-athletes with a selection on one of the All-America teams. The two organizations will honor the national All-Americas at an awards banquet on June 16 in King of Prussia, Pa.
