Dairy Queen Teddy Bear Toss
If you donate a teddy bear or a stuffed animal to the JMU Ticket Office or a Harrisonburg Dairy Queen location now through January, you'll received a small blizzard coupon and a free ticket the JMU Men's Basketball game on January 30th. All donations will benefit the UVA Children's Hospital.
Puppy Pound
The JMU Puppy Pound, presented by Chick-fil-A Harrisonburg, is the official kids club of JMU Athletics. Join the Puppy Pound to receive exclusive membership benefits, which includes a t-shirt, Chick-fil-A pre-game events, and much more! CommonWealth One Faculty/Staff Appreciation
All JMU faculty and staff in attendance on Thursday, January 2nd, will receive a free gift courtesy of Commonwealth One. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to stop by the local JMU branch on January 2nd to pick up the free gift as well.
Martin's Canned Food Drive
Donate two (2) canned food items to the local Martin’s in Harrisonburg, or the ticket office at the Atlantic Union Bank Center during November and receive a ticket voucher to select December JMU men's and women's basketball games. Limited quantities available. One per person. All food donations will benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
Duke Dog Reading Program
Students in Pre-K through Grade 5 have the opportunity to participate in the Duke Dog Reading Program, presented by the School of Professional & Continuing Education. Students who read the required amount of books will receive one (1) ticket, which admits the student and two (2) other guests (total of three people), to select JMU basketball games this season. Each student that submits this form will also be registered to win an Invest529 College Savings Account valued at $529. One winner will be randomly selected at the end of the Duke Dog Reading Program. The winning class will receive 10% off youth camps courses as well as a full youth program course scholarship for the individual that reads the most. The classroom with the most "Duke Dog Completion" form submissions will also receive a pizza party, courtesy of Invest529.
