George was named to the All-Colonial Athletic Conference team twice in her four-year career. She was named to the second team as a freshman and to the first as a senior. After her senior campaign she was also named to the all-region second team. She was named the CAA player of the week twice as a freshman and once as a sophomore.
In her freshman campaign, George started all 62 games of the season, which tied a JMU record for most games played in a season, and batted .320. She posted the record for at bats in a season with 206 and had a record 140 assists. George recorded 66 hits during the season which still ranks fifth all-time and had 98 total bases which was ranked first until both she and teammate Jenn Chavez (Upland, Calif./Upland) surpassed that number in 2007. George was a threat on the base paths with nine stolen bases and a record 43 runs scored until she broke her own record with 50 runs scored as a senior in 2007.
As a sophomore in 2005 she started 54 of 55 games and continued to show her prowess on the base paths with 10 stolen bases in 11 attempts. Defensively she had the most putouts in her career with 114 during the season.
In 2006 George played in 49 of the team's 52 games and had the most stolen bases in a season for her career with 15. Only teammate Andrea Long had more stolen bases in a season for JMU with 18 during the same season.
As a senior George had the best offensive season of her career. She hit for an average of .368 and scored a record 50 runs. She recorded 70 hits which puts he
