WILMINGTON, N.C., Oct. 3, 2008 ? James Madison scored an early goal in each half en route to a 2-0 Colonial Athletic Association victory over North Carolina Wilmington in women's soccer Friday night.
The Dukes improved their record to 6-3-2 overall and 2-1-0 in the CAA. UNCW's record stands 5-5-1 overall and 1-2-0 in CAA play.
Junior Corky Julien's (Williamstown, Ontario/Char-Lan District) shot to the upper right corner of the goal just 5:06 into the match gave JMU a 1-0 lead. The goal was set up by sophomore Cate Tisinger (Clifton, Va./Centreville), who sent a pass into the box to Julien and earned the assist.
