NORFOLK, Va., February 25, 2008 ? The JMU men's tennis team fell to 2-5 overall and 0-3 in the Colonial Athletic Association this season with 6-1 defeat at the hands of Old Dominion Sunday.

The 39th-ranked Monarchs jumped on the Dukes from the start taking all three doubles matches 8-6, 8-5, 8-6 to earn the doubles point.

In singles play, JMU got a win from freshman Jared Robinson 7-6(5), 5-7, (12-10) but were unable to earn any other points. Sophomore Mike Smith took his match to three sets after splitting the first two 6-4, 3-6, but fell in the tiebreaker 6-2.Â
