LOUISVILLE, Ky., Sept. 1, 2007 -- Louisville's Lou McDonald scored on a header late in the first half to give the Cardinals a 1-0 victory over James Madison in men's soccer Monday afternoon at the Courtyard by Marriott East Classic hosted by Louisville.
McDonald scored off a cross from the left corner from Aaron Clapham 37:17 into the game.
Louisville held a slight 9-7 advantage on shots and had eight corners to three for JMU.
Dukes' redshirt freshman goalkeeper Justin Epperson (Herndon, Va./Oakton) finished with five saves.
The Cardinals evened their record at 1-1 while JMU dropped to 0-2.
