HARRISONBURG, Va., April 26, 2009 ? Redshirt sophomore Trevor Knight (Charlottesville, Va./St. Anne's-Belfield) pitched 5 1/3 innings of dominant relief and doubled twice at the plate to lead James Madison to a 6-5 victory over Georgia State to finish a Colonial Athletic Association baseball sweep on Sunday afternoon at Long Field/Mauck Stadium.

JMU improved to 27-18 on the season with its 10^th win in 11 games. The Dukes have also won seven of eight league contests to improve to 11-7 after their first sweep of the season. GSU, which lost to JMU for the seventh straight time, fell to 26-18, 8-7 in the league.

Knight entered with one on in the fourth and allowed a walk and a run to score on an error before then retiring 10 consecutive batters, including striking out the side in the sixth. He allowed no hits until two outs in the ninth on a single and a two-run home run. He recovered to end the game on his sixth strikeout to improve to 3-1 on the season.

Senior left-hander Justin Wood (Dayton, Va./Turner Ashby) started for JMU and allowed three runs, two earned, on three hits with four strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings. Both runs came on solo homers.

Aiden Francis took the loss in relief for GSU after allowing three runs, one earned, on two hits in 1 1/3 innings. He took his first loss of the season to fall to 4-1.

Knight paced the offense with a pair of doubles, a run, and an RBI. Junior center fielder Alex Foltz was also 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Junior left fielder Matt Browning (Mystic, Conn./Fitch), sophomore third baseman McKinnon Langston (Tallahassee, Fla./North Florida Christian), and redshirt senior first baseman Lee Bujakowski (Hopewell, Va./Hopewell) each had RBI hits for the Dukes.

The Panthers had just five hits in the game. Center fielder Nick Hogan homered twice and drove in three. Catcher Marc Mimeault also had two hits with a solo home run.
