DUKES PART OF WINNING TEAM IN NORTH-SOUTH LACROSSE GAME

DOWNINGTOWN, Pa., June 12, 2010 -- James Madison lacrosse coach Shelley Klaes-Bawcombe and three of her players were on the winning team in the North-South Senior All-Star Game Saturday afternoon at the United Sports Training Center.
Klaes-Bawcombe coached the South Team, which outscored the North 5-2 in the second period en route to a 7-4 win.
JMU players on the South roster included midfielder Kim Griffin (Jarrettsville, Md./North Harford), goalkeeper Morgan Kelly (Annapolis, Md./St. Mary's) and defender Susan Lines (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor).
Griffin scored the South's first goal of the second half to give her team its first lead of the game at 3-2. The South never surrendered the lead after Griffin's score.
