RICHMOND, Va., March 14, 2011 -- James Madison senior attacker Mary Kate Lomady (Abington, Pa./Abington) has been selected the Colonial Athletic Association women's lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending March 13.
In last week's wins over Yale (9-5 on March 9) and Richmond (16-11 on March 12), Lomady scored six goals. That included a five-goal output in the victory over Richmond.
She also had two assists, four caused turnovers and two ground balls in last week's action.
The Dukes improved to 5-0 and moved from 10th to ninth place in this week's Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll.
