Men's Soccer Downs George Mason 2-1

FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 20, 2012 -- James Madison rallied from a 1-0 deficit with two second-half goals to down George Mason 2-1 in Colonial Athletic Association men's soccer Saturday evening.
Senior Paul Wyatt (Modbury, England/Ivybridge) tied the game with a goal in the 65th minute, and sophomore Josh Grant (Plymouth, England/Torpoint College) scored the game-winner in the 75th minute.
Mason scored just 34 seconds into the second half to take a 1-0 lead. Wesley Sever netted the goal for the Patriots.
JMU improved its overall record to 6-5-3 and its CAA record to 4-1-2. George Mason's record is 10-5-0 overall and 3-4-0 in league play.
With 14 points (three points for a win, one point for a tie), JMU remains in third place in the CAA standings. Drexel (6-1-1, 19 points) and Northeastern (6-0-1, 19) are tied for first place.
