Women's Tennis Concludes Fall Slate at ITA Atlantic Regionals

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Oct. 20, 2013 – The fall tournament slate for James Madison women's tennis came to a close on Sunday afternoon, the third day of the ITA Atlantic Regional.
In the round-of-32 of the main singles draw, junior Taylor Pinchoff (Sylvan Lake, Mich./West Bloomfield) was defeated 6-0, 6-0 by William & Mary's Maria Belaya. Overall, Pinchoff went 4-4 in singles action during the fall campaign.
After a change in the schedule, freshman Alex Huie (Woodlands, Texas/Woodlands) did not compete in the consolation bracket for the main singles draw. She finished the fall campaign with a 4-5 record in singles play.
Overall, JMU went 48-25 in singles matches and 23-13 in doubles matches during the tournament season.
