JMU Athletics Marketing is excited to roll out an extensive schedule of promotions for the 2014-15 men's and women's basketball seasons. Be sure to visit the Convocation Center for one of 33 home contests to experience a variety of giveaways, fan contests, performances and special acts. These elements combine with our time-tested spirit and traditions to contribute to the best game atmosphere in the Colonial Athletic Association. 11/14 | Purple Out the Convo - Support the Dukes and keep the Convo purple against this top ten opponent. Exit 245 Performance - Well known JMU a capella group Exit 245 will be performing at Halftime of the game. |
11/17 | Corn Dogs! - The first 300 students can take part in a pre-game tailgate featuring Corn Dogs, popcorn, ice cream, and more. |

Res-Life Challenge - Treehouses - residence halls will compete to bring the most fans to the game for the chance to win an exclusive fantasy practice with the MBB team. JMU Alumni Night - JMU Alumni can receive a discounted ticket prior to the game. Duke Dog Reading Day - elementary school participants that reach certain reading benchmarks will receive free tickets to the game. Schedule Posters – Pick up your JMU Women's Basketball 2014-15 schedule poster at any entrance of the Convocation Center. JMU Student Wristbands for Men's Basketball vs. UVA – JMU students who attend the game will receive a wristband upon exiting that will guarantee them entry into the JMU vs. UVA men's basketball game at 7 p.m. that night. Puppy Pound Registration and Pick Up – Register your child for the JMU Dukes Puppy Pound presented by Chick-fil-A Harrisonburg, or pick up membership items if you have a child who is already registered. National Girls and Women in Sports Day – JMU will join a national effort to encourage girls and women to participate in sports by hosting a clinic with JMU female student-athletes prior to the game. Registration will be required, but is not yet available. Girl Scout Day – Girl Scouts are invited to join us for this game.
