Tickets for the 2015-16 men's and women's basketball seasons are on sale now. Both new and returning season ticket accounts may order their season tickets for the upcoming season of Dukes hoops in the Convocation Center. Don't miss the action when both of your 2015 Colonial Athletic Association regular season champions return to action in November! Season tickets can be ordered online, by calling 540-568-3853 or by visiting the Athletic Ticket Office in the Convocation Center.
A variety of season ticket packages are available for Dukes fans as season tickets guarantee the best seat locations for all JMU home games this winter. Season ticket packages include complimentary game day parking and feature the same seat location for all regular season home games. The Duke Club priority deadline for 2015-16 season tickets is October 1. Current season ticket holders must renew by this date to guarantee their seats from last season, and new orders received by the date will be included in the priority seating process to ensure the best seat location available.Â
Women's basketball packages offer both reserved and general admission options, with the family plan leading the way as our most popular choice. Family plans are available for only $150 and include four tickets for all 14 women's home games as well as a gameday parking pass. The Dukes are coming off a stellar 2014-15 campaign that saw them win their second consecutive CAA championship, and they are led by Head Coach Kenny Brooks, the all-time winningest coach in JMU women's basketball history.Click here to see all the pricing and package options for women's basketball season tickets.
Men's basketball season tickets will include 18 home games and are available through a variety of package options as well. Lower level reserved seating provides the best view of the on-court action for $155 and affordable upper level seating is available with discounts for family plans, seniors, and JMU faculty/staff. JMU returns nine letterwinners and all five starters from the 2014-15 squad that captured a share of the Colonial Athletic Association regular season championship for the first time in 15 years. This squad will face some tough match-ups against quality opponents in the Convo this season. Click here for more details and pricing on men's basketball season tickets.
JMU Athletics is excited to unveil an expanded student section for men's games this season. The student section now includes section 105 and provides a significant block of contiguous seating in the lower level for students. This change encourages students to arrive earlier and gather in larger numbers closer to the action while being more engaged in the game, ultimately creating a more electric home court advantage.Â
In addition, the plans for the new Convocation Center include student seating closer to the floor, and this change helps transition to a more engaged gameday environment. More information on the new Convocation Center, including donation opportunities, is available at JMUConvo.com.
