CHARLESTON, S.C. – James Madison men's tennis dropped a 7-0 decision at College of Charleston on Sunday in Colonial Athletic Association action.
The Dukes (6-6, 1-1 CAA) fell behind early after losing the doubles point to the Cougars (9-4, 1-0 CAA). CofC then swept singles play as all but one match were decided in two sets.
Senior
Maxi Branth took his No. 3 singles match against Rodrigo Encinas a full three sets, coming back from a 6-1 loss in set one with a 6-3 win in set two. Encinas, however, posted a 6-4 win in set three to clinch the match victory.

Brett Moorhead lost 6-1 to Encinas and Juan Estevarena at the No. 1 position while junior
Sebastian Salinas and freshman
Tristan Stitt fell 6-3 to Charlie Ghriskey and Zack Lewis at the No. 2 position. The No. 3 doubles match was halted with juniors

Miljan Ruzic trailing Vasily Kichigin and Josh Record 5-2.
JMU returns to the Commonwealth for a midweek match-up at Longwood on Tuesday, March 15 at 2:30 p.m.
