LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After No. 13 James Madison field hockey (6-3) scored the first goal of the contest, four straight tallies by No. 15 Louisville (6-4, 1-1 ACC) led to a 4-1 loss by the Dukes.

Junior Miranda Rigg scored her eighth goal of the season in the seventh minute of play, sending a reverse shot from the top of the circle scorching past the Louisville keeper.

HOW WE GOT HERE
- JMU scored the first goal of the day and held the lead until the final horn of the first half as Louisville knotted it at 1-all off a corner rebound heading into the locker room.
- Louisville earned six corners on the afternoon compared to JMU's two.
- Louisville had 14 shot attempts, including 11 on goal, while JMU had five with two on goal.
- Senior goalie Sara Kraeutler made seven saves, tying a season high (7 vs. No. 7 UNC, Sept. 17)
