HARRISONBURG, Va. – Sophomore
Manuel Ferriol scored his third goal of the season to help the James Madison men's soccer team tie in the Colonial Athletic Association matchup against Hofstra, 1-1 on Saturday at Sentara Park. After the tie, the Dukes move to 4-3-3 (1-0-2 CAA) while the Pride move to 1-3-6 (0-0-4 CAA) on the year.

Sean Connolly made one save on the night and is now 2-0-2 on the season. The Dukes tallied three corners on the night which all came in the second half while Hofstra took six corner kicks on the night.

Foley's Remarks
"This was a pretty tough battle. Hofstra is better than their record, they are very big and athletic. We showed great character to be able to battle back from being down a goal with 19 minutes left and we created chances late in the game and almost pulled it out in the end."
