PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Former Duke
Kyle Morton has signed with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the United Soccer League, announced on Friday.
Morton signed a one year deal with a club option for the 2019 season, pending USL and USSF approval.
Morton previously signed with the Rochester Rhinos in 2017 prior to joining the Riverhounds. The former Duke received the contract offer after competing in the Riverhounds' combine in the offseason.
Morton played for JMU from 2012-2016, as he redshirted his sophomore season due to injury. At JMU, Morton tallied a career 1.13 goals against average with a total of 254 saves (75.8 save percentage). In his junior and senior seasons, Morton garnered Preseason All-CAA and Third Team All-CAA honors.
