HARRISONBURG, Va. – Despite a road loss last weekend, James Madison still ranks in the top 10 of both major FCS polls, as it is ninth in the STATS FCS Top 25 and 10th in the AFCA FCS Coaches' Top 25.

The Dukes (6-3, 4-2 CAA) are coming off a 35-24 setback at New Hampshire, marking JMU's first FCS road loss since the 2015 season.

Heading into the penultimate week of the regular season, JMU is a game back in the Colonial Athletic Association standings, at 4-2, trailing Delaware and Maine, which are both 5-1.

North Dakota State stays atop the polls once again this week, receiving all first-place votes in both the media and coaches' polls. Following the Bison in the media poll are Kennesaw State, Weber State, UC Davis and Eastern Washington. On the coaches' side, KSU was second, followed by EWU at third, Weber at fourth and Elon at fifth.

In the CAA, six teams are ranked in both polls this week. Aside from JMU, Elon also ranks seventh in the media poll and fifth in the coaches' poll. Other CAA teams include Delaware (11/12), Stony Brook (12/15), Maine (16/21) and Towson (20/20). Rhode Island also received votes in both polls.

No. 9 JMU is back home this Saturday, Nov. 10 to face Rhode Island for Senior Day. Kickoff from Bridgeforth Stadium/Zane Showker Field is set for 2 p.m. and will be televised on MASN and SNY while being streamed on MadiZONE HD SportsNet. Pregame coverage on the JMU Sprint Broadcast Network begins at 1 p.m.
