EVANSTON, Ill. –
Jona Roka completed a perfect weekend by capturing her second flight title of the weekend with a win in flight G singles on the final day of the Wildcat Invite, played at Northwestern's Vandy Christie Tennis Center.
Roka finished her weekend with a 3-0 singles record by defeating Princeton's Maia Sung, 7-5, 6-2.
Playing in consolation finals, three other Dukes claimed victories on Sunday.
Daniela Voloh took a straight-set victory from Tia Mukherjee of Michigan State, winning 7-6, 6-1.
Kylie Moulin rolled to a 6-2, 6-1 win over Marquette's Lesley Foe, and
Natalia Nikolopoulou blanked Lewis' Joie Reisch in a 6-0, 6-0 final.
Michelle Los Arcos played in the third round of flight F where she claimed victory against UIC's Nell Arendt, 6-1, 5-7, 7-6.
MATCH FACTS
- Roka claimed both of her flight titles, winning the doubles flight on Saturday with teammate Moulin and her singles flight on Sunday. She is now 5-1 this fall in singles play.
- Voloh and Nikolopoulou also improved to 5-1 during the fall with wins in their respective consolation brackets.
- Moulin finished 2-1 in singles play for the second straight tournament.
- Los Arcos improved to 6-0 in singles during fall tournament play.
