Softball Announces 2019 Summer Camps

HARRISONBURG, Va. - James Madison softball has announced the dates for the 2019 Loren LaPorte Softball Camps.
CAMP INFORMATION
Summer Camp: June 18-20
Elite Summer Camp: July 16-17
Little Dukes Camp: July 18

CAMP INFORMATION
Summer Camp: June 18-20
- This three-day camp in June will cover all aspects of the game and campers have the option of staying overnight in a JMU dorm or being a day camper.
- Ages 10-18
- Overnight camp will cost $425 and day camp will cost $325.
Elite Summer Camp: July 16-17
- This two-day camp in July is for elite level athletes and it will cover all aspects of the game.
- Ages 13-18
- Camp will cost $250.
Little Dukes Camp: July 18
- This is a one-day camp that will help young players learn the fundamental skills of the game while building their softball knowledge.
- Ages 6-12
- It will cost $100.
LOCATION
- The camp will be held at Veterans Memorial Park, located on 395 South High St. in Harrisonburg.
- For the overnight camp, campers will stay in Gifford Hall.
WHAT TO BRING
- Campers should bring a bat, glove, helmet, catchers equipment, cleats, tennis shoes and sun screen.
