Eight outgoing football seniors showcased their skills in front of National Football League Scouts at 2019 JMU Pro Day on Tuesday afternoon at Bridgeforth Stadium.
Â
The group included defensive lineman Darrious Carter, linebacker Robert Carter Jr., wide receiver David Eldridge, kicker Tyler Gray, running backs Cardon Johnson, Marcus Marshall and Trai Sharp and cornerback Jimmy Moreland.
Â
Pro Day brought 19 scouts from 13 different NFL franchises to campus to observe the players' testing and drills both inside the weight room and on the football field.
Players will continue to train this spring with the aspirations of being drafted, signing as a free agent or being invited to a franchise's mini camp. The 2019 NFL Draft is set for April 25-27 in Nashville, Tenn.
