Lizzy Fox has been named Colonial Athletic Association Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week following the team's largest win of the young season.

Fox registered a career-high four points off two goals and two assist in JMU's 21-4 victory last Friday against Canisius. It marked her first game with more than one goal and one assist, as she scored both goals on just two shots. She had a goal and an assist in each half, aiding in the Dukes tying for the ninth-most goals in program history. She also collected one ground ball.

The North Rockland, N.Y., native has now scored at least one goal in each of JMU's four consecutive wins. On the year, she has an .833 shooting percentage, with five goals on six shots.

The seventh-ranked Dukes return to action on Wednesday when it travels to University Park, Pa., to take on No. 19 Penn State. The opening draw is set for 2 p.m. at Holuba Hall on PSU's campus.
