COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – James Madison swimming & diving was one of 480 institutions named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association's (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team for the Spring 2019 semester, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
To be honored, teams must have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2019 spring semester and JMU combined for a 3.32 GPA. The Dukes were one of seven Colonial Athletic Association programs to receive the distinguished honor.
After capturing back-to-back CAA titles, the Dukes finished their season with a 9-2-1 overall record while four divers qualified for the NCAA Zone A Championships and junior
Bonnie Zhang was the third swimmer in program history to qualify for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship.
