JMU Announces 2019 Football Promotional Schedule

James Madison Athletics is pleased to announce the full promotional schedule for the 2019 football season, presented by CarMax. The Dukes will host six regular-season games this upcoming season at Bridgeforth Stadium/Zane Showker Field.

The promotional slate kicks off on Sept. 7 when the Dukes host Saint Francis at 6 p.m. in the home opener for Community Day. That game highlights JMU's relationship with the Shenandoah Valley and features discounted tickets for local residents. It will also be Day with the Dukes, and JMU will be giving away free JMU-branded clear bags.

The following week, on Sept. 14, JMU welcomes Morgan State to town for Band Day at 4 p.m. Students from across the region will join the Marching Royal Dukes for a special in-game experience. The newest members of the JMU Hall of Fame will be recognized, and Boy and Girl Scouts will enjoy the Great Madison Campout on Zane Showker Field following the game.
The regular-season schedule also includes Family Weekend on Oct. 12 against Villanova (1:30 p.m.), Homecoming on Oct. 26 versus Towson (3:30 p.m.), Heroes Day on Nov. 9 against New Hampshire (3:30 p.m.) and Senior Day and Fan Appreciation Day on Nov. 16 for the home finale with Richmond (3:30 p.m.)
This season, fans will have the opportunity to pick up all six limited edition, game-specific posters at the Fan Zone prior to kickoff while supplies last.
In addition, three games have been specified as color-out games for JMU Nation. JMU's home opener versus Saint Francis will be the White Out, the Homecoming matchup with Towson will be a Purple Out and the final home game against Richmond is set to be the Black Out.
