JMU Unveils Eight-Game Spring Football Schedule

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison has announced its 2020-21 football schedule, which features eight regular-season games, including five at home and three on the road this upcoming spring.
JMU's schedule is made up of two non-conference home games and six conference matchups, which consists of one home and one away contest against each of its three Colonial Athletic Association south division opponents – Elon, Richmond and William & Mary. The 2020-21 season marks the first time JMU will play an opponent twice during the regular season.
The spring slate kicks off on Saturday, Feb. 20 when JMU hosts Morehead State at Bridgeforth Stadium. The following week, the Dukes welcome Robert Morris to town on Feb. 27.
Conference play opens on March 6 when the Dukes hit the road to face Elon. It's the second straight season the Dukes and Phoenix will begin CAA play against each other at Rhodes Stadium.
JMU returns to Harrisonburg for back-to-back home games against in-state foes William & Mary on March 13 and Richmond on March 20. The Dukes close the month on March 27 at the Tribe, and face the Spiders a week later, on April 3, in the capital city.
The Dukes conclude the regular season on April 10 at home against Elon and have an open week on April 17, ahead of the NCAA Selection Show on April 18.
The 2020-21 FCS Playoffs, which is reduced from 24 teams to 16 this year, will run four consecutive weekends beginning April 24 and will culminate May 14, 15 or 16 with the national championship game.
TICKET INFORMATION
If available, tickets for the spring football season will be sold on a single-game basis with access being determined by Duke Club priority and season-ticket holder status. Additionally, a limited number of free tickets would also be available for current JMU students to reserve.cOther information, including on-sale dates and priority deadlines, will be made available once fan capacity at Bridgeforth Stadium is confirmed.
