HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison women's basketball Head Coach
Sean O'Regan has released the 2020-21 non-conference slate which features at least four home games in the new state-of-the-art Atlantic Union Bank Center (AUBC).
Â
The Dukes will open the 2020-21 campaign in the AUBC on Nov. 25 when they welcome Mount St. Mary's, as part of an opening-night doubleheader with JMU men's basketball. Following a quick two-day break, JMU returns to action at home by taking on Marquette on Nov. 28.
Â
JMU will hit the road to open the December slate, traveling to Charlottesville to battle in-state foe Virginia on Dec. 3. The Dukes will face George Mason (Dec. 6, 2 p.m.) and George Washington (Dec. 9, 4 p.m.) to round out their home non-conference ledger.
Â
The final currently-scheduled non-conference game for the Dukes will be on the road against West Virginia on Dec. 13.
Â
JMU is still aiming to add additional games to its non-conference portion of the schedule. More information will be released as contracts are finalized. All dates and times are subject to change.
Â
Based on the State of Virginia's COVID-19 Phase Three Guidelines, a limit of 1,000 fans will be allowed in the Atlantic Union Bank Center for home basketball games. Due to this limited number of tickets, season ticket packages will not be available and single game tickets will be made available to 2020 Duke Club members in order of their priority rank.
Â
Ticket requests for the non-conference schedule will be accepted from Duke Club members starting Monday, Nov. 9, with seating assigned based on priority rank following the Nov. 16 Priority Deadline. A block of tickets will be available for JMU students, with reservations also beginning on November 9. JMU students and current Duke Club members will receive email notification in regards to the ticket reservation process.
Â
All home games will have live streaming available either as part of the Colonial Athletic Association's subscription streaming platform on FloSports or free via MadiZONE. Exact streaming outlets for each game will be announced at a later date.
Â
Dukes Unite, the fundraising campaign launched by James Madison Athletics on Oct. 1, has turned its focus to a virtual ticket initiative with the goal to "sell out" or fill all of JMU's athletics venues to capacity. Donations during the virtual sellout portion of the campaign will take the form of a $10 "ticket" to one of JMU's 10 different venues. Play your part by purchasing a
virtual ticket today.
