HARRISONBURG, Va. - James Madison men's basketball has paused all team activities following a positive COVID-19 test within the program.
Â
The program discovered the positive test on Friday during regular surveillance testing. When informed, a second test was conducted and also indicated a positive.
Â
In accordance with contact tracing guidelines, Saturday's contest against Maryland will not played as scheduled. Further testing and consultation has determined that games against Old Dominion (Dec. 7) and Coppin State (Dec. 10) will also not be able to be played this week.
Â
The program hopes to return to action on Dec. 14, barring further potential delays.
