JMU Announces Three Additions to Future Non-Conference Slate

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Director of Athletics Jeff Bourne announced the addition of three future non-conference home games for the football program in the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

The first of JMU's three new non-conference games takes place on Sept. 7, 2024, when JMU hosts Presbyterian. JMU also confirmed its first two matchups for 2025, adding games at Bridgeforth Stadium against Norfolk State on Aug. 30 and North Carolina A&T on Sept. 6.

It will be JMU's first-ever matchups against both Presbyterian and North Carolina A&T and the fourth against Norfolk State. JMU and NSU have previously met twice and are scheduled for its third meeting in 2022.

Additionally, JMU's FBS game at North Carolina, which was originally to be played this past fall, has been moved to the 2028 season. A date for that matchup will be determined later.

JMU currently has 16 non-conference games confirmed between the 2021 and 2028 seasons.
