Baseball Adds Three-Game Series Against UNC This Weekend

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison baseball has added a three-game series against North Carolina this weekend, February 19-21, as announced by head coach Marlin Ikenberry.

The series will serve as the season opener for both teams, and will take place in Chapel Hill, N.C. Games times are listed as 3:00 P.M. on Friday, 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, and the finale at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday.

The two teams have not faced each other since 2013, where the Dukes dropped a pair of games. Nine of the 11 games in the series have been in Chapel Hill.

The Dukes return their entire lineup and pitching rotation, with Chase DeLauter, Kyle Novak, and Justin Showalter all named to the 2021 Preseason All-Colonial Athletic Association Team.
