CHARLESTON, S.C. - College of Charleston used seven extra-base hits on Saturday afternoon to hand James Madison a 15-3 loss in Colonial Athletic Association baseball action at Patriots Point.

The Dukes (5-9, 2-3 CAA) fell behind in the first when Charleston (15-14, 7-4 CAA) scored on an error. The Cougars then followed with seven runs in the fourth and three more in both the sixth and seventh to put things out of reach.

Fox Semones went 2-for-4 with a homer to lead the Dukes, while freshman
Chase DeLauter added a home run of his own, his fourth of the season and second in as many contests.

JMU would score all three of their runs in the seventh and eighth innings.

Donald Hansis and Luke Stageberg each tallied three hits for Charleston, while left fielder Harrison Hawkins drove in five runs with the help of a fourth-inning grand slam. Cougar starter Trey Pooser yielded just two runs across his start, taking a no-hitter into the top of the seventh before giving way to the bullpen in the eighth.
