Softball Releases Fall 2021 Schedule

HARRISONBURG, Va. - James Madison softball released its fall schedule, as announced by head coach Loren LaPorte on Wednesday morning. The team will compete in eight games this fall, hosting six home games at Veterans Memorial Park.
The Dukes open up fall play on Sat., Sept. 25th at home, facing Bridgewater College and Emory & Henry.
On Sun., Oct. 3rd, the Dukes will head down to Charlotesville, Va. to take on Virginia and Longwood. During the 2020-2021 season, JMU swept a doubleheader against the Lancers, winning 1-0 and 6-0 on the road.
JMU will then host neighbor Eastern Mennonite University in a doubleheader on Fri., Oct. 8th.
The Dukes will close out the season in another doubleheader on Fri., Oct. 15th, with JMU hosting Richard Bland.
Concessions will not be sold during the fall games, but patrons are welcome to bring their own food and drink.
All home games will be open to the public.
