HARRISONBURG, Va. – Right side Cameryn Jones has been tabbed the final Defensive Player of the Week after she put up impressive numbers in James Madison volleyballs weekend sweep over South Alabama, the conference announced Tuesday.

Jones had a career best weekend, setting a career high in blocks (10), points (17.5) and kills (14). Her 16.0 total blocks led the conference where she averaged 2.29 blocks per set. Offensively, she boasted a hitting percentage of .568 with 22 kills, tallying no errors in Saturday's game.

This is the fifth weekly award the Dukes have picked up this season and the first of Jones' career.

The Dukes will be down in Foley, Ala. this week for the Sun Belt Championship tournament, where they will play on Friday at 3:30 PM EST. All matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
