NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – James Madison lacrosse dropped one spot in the rankings but remained in the top 15, coming in at No. 13 in the first IWLCA/ILWomen poll of the regular season, the organizations released on Monday.

The Dukes dropped to No. 13 after falling on Saturday to No. 2 North Carolina at Sentara Park. The Tar Heels remained in the second spot in this week's poll.

In Saturday's top-15 contest, redshirt senior
Molly Dougherty made 15 saves and redshirt junior
Rachel Matey led all players with seven draw controls.

The Dukes will play twice this week, beginning with a home battle with Virginia Tech on Wednesday, Feb. 16 before a neutral-site contest against UConn at the US Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Feb. 19.
