Five Recognized as NFHCA Scholars of Distinction

BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The James Madison field hockey program had five student-athletes recognized as National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Scholars of Distinction, the organization announced Tuesday.

The five Dukes named were Caroline Cahill, Aubrey Scott King, Florien Marcussen, Diede Remijnse and Eveline Zwager.Â

This is Cahill, Zwager, Remijnse and Scott's second year being named Scholars of Distinction, having all earned the honor in the 2020 season.

The NFHCA recognized 280 student athletes as Scholars of Distinction, which recognizes those who achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2021-22 academic year.
