J. Hall Named Conference Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – James Madison infielder Jasmine Hall has been named the conference Rookie of the Week, the first weekly award for the Dukes this season, the league announced Tuesday.

Hall tallied four hits in five at bats (.800) in to help JMU split a pair of games against Maryland and Lehigh on Friday. She also recorded three RBIs and scored three runs across the two games. She hit her first career triple against Lehigh and her single was the game-winning hit to give the Dukes a walk-off win over the Mountain Hawks.

Against Maryland, Hall recorded two hits and scored two runs to put the Dukes on the board with their first two runs of the game. She also tallied four assists against the Terps and maintained her 1.000 fielding percentage.

The Dukes are slated to head to Radford on Wednesday, March 16 at 2 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
