NAPLES, Italy – Former James Madison women's soccer midfielder
Iris Rabot signed a deal to play with Pomigliano C.F. of Serie A, the highest tier of women's soccer in Italy.

"The Pomigliano represents a great opportunity for me and I am proud to be here," said Rabot. "I will give my best for this jersey. I am French and I am linked to my land and the symbol of the Eiffel Tower that represents my nation, my home, my family and my friends. Now I want to make the most of this experience in Italy and do well with the colors of my new team."

A three-year letterwinner with JMU from 2019-21, Rabot played in 46 matches while making 40 starts. She started her collegiate career at UNOH, earning NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors her freshman year in addition to WHAC Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-WHAC. She totaled 14 goals and 11 assists in her freshman campaign.

After transferring to JMU, the Lyon, France native scored a total of six goals and 10 assists for a combined 22 points while putting 23 of her 45 shots on goal. Her first year in Harrisonburg, she ranked second on the team in assists (seven) and tied for third in goals (five) and points (17). She tallied an assist in the spring 2021 season before scoring a goal and adding two assists in her senior season in the fall of 2021.
