Weather Update: Currently No Change to JMU vs. Texas State Kickoff

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics is closely watching the path and impact of Hurricane Ian as it tracks north. At this time, as of midday Thursday, Sept. 29, JMU does not anticipate any change to Saturday's scheduled 1:30 p.m. kickoff for its first Sun Belt Conference home game against Texas State.

Tickets for the game are sold out, but fans can buy or sell tickets on JMU's official secondary marketplace on Stubhub. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN+.

Any changes to various events scheduled by JMU Parent Relations as part of JMU's Family Weekend celebration can be found directly on the Parent Relations website.

The Friday Night Flights event sponsored by W.M. Jordan Company and the JMU Duke Club on Friday, Sept. 30 has officially moved from Bridgeforth Stadium to the Atlantic Union Bank Center, with parking available in the Ballard Deck. Tickets for the event are still available.

Decisions on other game day activities will be made at a later time. Examples include:

Dog Walk for the team walking through parking areas
Fan Zone with inflatables on the Godwin patio
Hillside Field parking access from C4 parking lot
