JMU Ranked #24 in AP Top 25 Entering Final Week of Regular Season

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Entering the final week of the regular season, James Madison football is ranked #24 in the latest AP Top 25 poll while receiving votes in the US LBM Coaches Poll.
The Dukes saw their 13-game win streak come to an end on Saturday, Nov. 18 with a 26-23 overtime loss to App State at Bridgeforth Stadium. JMU overcame a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter, forcing overtime with a touchdown and two-point conversion with 57 seconds left.
The Dukes are 10-1 on the year and 6-1 in Sun Belt Conference play, and they hold a one-game lead in the East division standings over both App State and Coastal Carolina.
JMU received 75 points in the AP Top 25 to hold on to its spot in the poll while receiving 48 points in the US LBM Coaches Poll, which is the fifth team outside that top 25.
The 24th-ranked Dukes conclude the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 25 when they travel to Conway, S.C., to battle Coastal Carolina. Kickoff at Brooks Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
