James Madison Receives 26 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Selections

IRVING, Texas - A total of 26 James Madison lacrosse student-athletes have been selected to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team for the 2022-23 academic year, the league announced Thursday morning.

Each student-athlete earned their selections through obtaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA for the academic year while taking a minimum of 18 semester credits. JMU's All-Academic selections included both undergrad and graduate students academically.

JMU lacrosse added to an array of academic honors following the 2022-23 year, as 12 student-athletes were named to the Dean's and President's Lists for the Spring 2023 semester while 25 student-athletes were named JMU Athletic Director's Scholar-Athletes.

Beyond school honors, junior Katelyn Morgan and redshirt senior Lizzy Fox were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team while Morgan was also selected as VaSID Academic All-State and the JMA Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
