JMU Lacrosse Announces Fall Schedule

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Head Coach Shelley Klaes announced the lacrosse program's 2023 fall schedule, which features two play days and a pair of single matchups.

The Dukes begin the fall by traveling to College Park, Md., on Saturday, Sept. 23 for the Maryland Play Day where they will face host Maryland, Navy and Towson.

Two weeks later, on Saturday, Oct. 7, JMU heads to Durham, N.C., for a 1 p.m. matchup at Duke.

JMU has its home date at Sentara Park on Friday, Oct. 13, when it hosts the Purple versus Gold scrimmage at 3:15 p.m. That same weekend, the Dukes host a JMU Play Day on Sunday, Oct. 15 and face Ohio State, VCU and Georgetown.

The Dukes close fall play on Friday, Oct. 27 in Charlottesville, Va., when they take on in-state rival Virginia at 6 p.m.

The team will announce their 2024 regular-season schedule later in the fall.
