HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics announced its full promotional schedule for the 2024-25 women's basketball season, presented by Dick Myers.
The Dukes will host 15 regular-season games at the Atlantic Union Bank Center in their third season as a member of the Sun Belt Conference.
The promotional slate kicks off when JMU hosts Loyola Maryland on Thursday, Nov. 7. This will be the first opportunity to pick up the 2024-25 team poster and schedule magnet.
The Dukes remain in Harrisonburg to host the ECU Pirates on Nov. 10. We will have a special in-game recognition and ticket deal for all veterans and active members as we honor them during our annual Hoops for Troops game.
As we prepare for Thanksgiving break, don't forget to support the Dukes when they take on Gardner-Webb on Nov. 17 for Residence Hall Day, and Saint Peter's on Nov. 20 for Faculty/Staff Appreciation, presented by CommonWealth One. The Residence Hall with the highest attendance will win a Residence Hall Party.
Two games have been designated as color-out games for JMU Nation. Wear purple and pack the arena as JMU hosts Texas on Dec. 8, and black out the Atlantic Union Bank Center for Sneaker Day versus Coastal Carolina on Jan. 25, presented by Valley Mall. Arrive early for chances to win prizes, enter a raffle for a pair of sneakers and get limited-edition sneaker items.
After hosting Texas, the Dukes travel for two away games before returning to Harrisonburg for Sun Belt play on Dec. 29 as they welcome Troy. Bring in the new year with your women's basketball team and pick up your 2025 sunglasses. This will serve as our first Duke Dog Reading Day game of the season, with the second game landing on Feb. 15 as the Dukes take on Old Dominion for the TowneBank Royal Rivalry. JMU will host Marshall on Jan. 9 for Community Day, presented by Aire Serv. Stop by the marketing table to pick up select women's basketball trading cards, while supplies last. Next, Georgia Southern treks to the Friendly City on Jan. 11 for Carnival Night. Join us pregame for free carnival games, prizes and more!
Join the Dukes for Decades Night on Jan. 23 versus Southern Miss for a chance to grab a JMU Basketball vinyl coaster from the marketing table.
Women's basketball will welcome a Mid-American Conference opponent for the MAC-SBC Challenge on Feb. 8 for their Women's Empowerment game. The festivities include a pregame National Girls and Women in Sport Day Clinic, presented by Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative, and Puppy Pound Party, presented by Chick-fil-A Harrisonburg. Preregistration is required to attend both National Girls and Women in Sport Day Clinic and the Puppy Pound Party.
Wear pink for the Dukes' annual Play4Kay game on Feb. 12 against App State. Be sure to arrive early to grab a Play4Kay rally towel and support breast cancer survivors.
Fan Appreciation Day, presented by Crumbl Cookies, is scheduled for Feb. 26 when JMU squares off against Georgia State. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to claim a surprise giveaway from Crumbl Harrisonburg.
Celebrate the class of 2025 seniors during our pregame ceremony on Feb. 28 in the Dukes' regular-season finale versus ULM. Fans, be sure to stop by the marketing table to pick up your senior jersey stickers!

James Madison Athletics has introduced cashless operations for all home athletics competitions. The cashless operations apply to stadium ticketing operations as well as all concessions, which are operated by our campus dining vendor, JMU Dining, and stadium bookstore merchandise sales, which are managed by Follet.
Fans looking to make purchases at any JMU Athletics events will need to have a debit or credit card accessible. Concessions and Team Stores will accept all versions of mobile pay (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay). Reverse ATMs will not be offered at any venues, fans are encouraged to make sure they have a debit or credit card available prior to entry.
