JMU Announces Promotional Schedule for 2024 Softball Season

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Athletics announced its full promotional schedule for the 2024 Softball season, presented by Weiler Orthodontics and Invisalign. The Dukes will host 25 regular-season games this season at Bank of the James Field at Veterans Memorial Park (VMP) in their second season as a member of the Sun Belt Conference.

The promotional slate kicks off on February 16 - 18 as JMU hosts the Weiler Orthodontics Invitational to open the season. There will be a special JMU softball schedule koozie and new 2024 team poster giveaway, while supplies last!

On March 8 - 10, JMU welcomes Texas State to town for Fan Appreciation Weekend. Join us as we welcome JMU faculty/staff for faculty/staff appreciation day, presented by Commonwealth One, local first responders for our Heroes' Day, presented by Aire Serv, and all fans for our limited-edition giveaway for St. Patrick's Day!

The Dukes are back at home on Wednesday, March 27, as JMU hosts in-state foe, Virginia for our Battle of Virginia game! Join us at VMP, as the first 100 students will receive a JMU softball bucket hat.

The regular season schedule also includes Kid's Weekend from March 28 - 30 as the Dukes are set to face Georgia State at home! Come out for our Camper Reunion, Kid's Day, Puppy Pound party, and Youth Softball Day for special activities!

The James Madison Dukes will return to VMP on May 2 – 4, to face Coastal Carolina for our series finale! Our Senior/Throwback Weekend will include decade-themed music and a JMU softball t-shirt all weekend long!

All JMU softball games at Veterans Memorial Park are free admission.
