HARRISONBURG, Va. – Six freshmen are set to join the James Madison field hockey program this fall, announced Head Coach
Christy Morgan on Wednesday morning.

"This is a really fun group," said Morgan. "They have all worked very hard to get to a great level and now it's time for them to shine! I'm excited for them to contribute to the success of this program and I'm really excited for myself and my awesome staff to get to coach them – great players and extraordinary people! They will add to an already amazing JMU field hockey culture. We now have a conference to play in and we are on a mission together!"

The Dukes are set for their first season as an affiliate member of the Mid-American Conference. JMU will welcome Villanova on Friday, Aug. 30 to kick off the 2024 season.
