HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison baseball Head Coach
Marlin Ikenberry has announced the program's addition of
Beth Woerner as Director of Baseball Operations on Monday morning.

"Beth has a lot of experience in collegiate baseball and we are excited for her to join our staff and the JMU baseball family," said Ikenberry.

Woerner joins the Dukes after spending the past three seasons with Lebanon Valley College as an assistant coach, aiding the baseball team to back-to-back MAC Commonwealth Conference titles and a regional final appearance. Prior to Lebanon Valley, she was the development coach for Charleston (WV) for the 2021 season, helping the Golden Eagles earn a regular season championship and be the Atlantic Regional host.

She has also worked as a program manager for Baseball Prospectus from 2018-20, while also serving as an assistant coach in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League with the Newark Pilots in the summer of 2021.

A 2014 JMU graduate with a bachelor's degree in archaeology, Woerner has also earned a graduate certificate in geographic information systems from West Florida in 2016 and a master's degree in strategic leadership in 2021 from Charleston.
