DUKES TREK TO COASTAL CAROLINA FOR SATURDAY TILT
- James Madison will open its series against Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Jan. 18. Game time is slated for 1 p.m. and will stream on ESPN+.
- Last time out, JMU recorded a season-best 55.0 percent (11-of-20) from three and 54.1 percent (33-of-61) from the field to fly by Marshall, 93-65, on Wednesday night inside the Cam Henderson Center.
- The Dukes registered a season-high 14 steals and turned 20 Marshall turnovers into 29 points for JMU's sixth consecutive victory.
- James Madison owns three top-40 marks nationally: defensive rebounds per game (15th - 29.3), rebounds per game (29th - 41.67) and three-point percentage defense (34th - 26.5).

- Annalicia Goodman registered a career-best 17 points to lead James Madison women's basketball past Coastal Carolina in a wire-to-wire 69-60 win on Wednesday night inside the HTC Center.
- JMU took advantage of its 16 offensive rebounds for 21 second-chance points compared to CCU's six.
- Goodman's scoring came on a 6-of-10 (.600) shooting night and a flawless 5-for-5 effort from the line to go along with five rebounds and two blocks. Peyton McDaniel recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, knocking down 2-of-3 from three. Ashanti Barnes finished with nine points and eight rebounds, while Chloe Sterling had nine points and two assists. Steph Ouderkirk shot a perfect 3-for-3 from the field and 2-for-2 from long range.
ROAD DOGS
- Since joining the Sun Belt in 2022, the Dukes are 34-15 (.694) outside the friendly confines of the Atlantic Union Bank Center, highlighted by a 16-4 (.800) mark in the team's inaugural season in the new conference. The 12 true road wins that season tied the program record with the 2006-07 and 2014-15 seasons with marks of 12-5 and 12-1, respectively.
- JMU has won nine of its last 11 true road games, most recently defeating Marshall 93-65 on Jan. 15.

- James Madison holds an 86-68 (.558) record against current Sun Belt Conference foes and is 37-11 (.771) since joining the conference in 2022.
- The Dukes have encountered Old Dominion more than any other SBC opponent, trailing 53-30 in the all-time series. Additionally, ODU is the only team in the league with a winning record against JMU.
